Unsnoozy

Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 3, 2026

Unsnoozy is an alarm clock app for iPhone made by NicotLab (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what the app keeps on your device, what it sends and to whom, and the choices you have.

In shortThere is no account and no sign-in. Your alarms, labels and wake-up history stay on your iPhone. The camera and motion data used by missions are processed on the device and never leave it. The app sends usage statistics to Google Analytics for Firebase and shows ads through Google AdMob. We do not sell your data.

What stays on your device

The app asks for each permission only when a feature needs it. You can change them at any time in the iPhone Settings app. Deleting Unsnoozy deletes this data.

Usage statistics (Google Analytics for Firebase)

To understand how the app is used and improve it, Unsnoozy sends events to Google Analytics for Firebase, a service of Google. These describe what happens in the app, not who you are:

Firebase also collects some information automatically, such as the device model, iOS and app version, an approximate country derived from the IP address, and an app instance identifier generated for this installation.

The app never sends alarm labels, camera images, scanned codes, alarm identifiers or your device’s advertising identifier.

Where the law requires consent for this measurement (for example in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland), statistics are stored only if you consent through the consent form described below.

Advertising (Google AdMob)

Unsnoozy is supported by ads served through Google AdMob. To show ads and measure them, the Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect information such as your IP address (used to estimate general location), device identifiers, the ads you have seen and interacted with, and crash and performance data.

Ads are limited to content suitable for general audiences.

Unsnoozy does not ask for permission to track you across other companies’ apps and websites, so the app does not give Google or advertisers access to your device’s advertising identifier (IDFA).

Where the law requires it, a consent form from Google’s User Messaging Platform asks for your choices before ads are personalised or statistics are stored. You can change those choices later under Ad privacy settings in the app.

Purchases

Missions and subscriptions are bought through Apple’s App Store. Apple handles payment; we never see your payment details, name or Apple Account. The app only learns what you own, so it can unlock it, and records a purchase in Google Analytics as described above.

Mission statistics

The mission store can show figures such as how many people use each mission. The app downloads these as an anonymous, aggregated file from our server at nicotlab.com (Firebase Hosting); when the file carries no figures, none are shown. As with any web request, the server receives your IP address. Nothing about you is uploaded.

Google’s use of data

Google processes the data it receives under its own privacy policy. See Google Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.

Children

Unsnoozy is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal data about you, or to object to its processing. Because Unsnoozy has no accounts, we hold nothing that identifies you directly; statistics are tied only to an app instance identifier. Contact us and we will help as far as we can.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
